Nicole McCarthy manage a World Business Chicago program called ChicagoMade that supports the development of Chicago's under-served creative entrepreneurs and small businesses. She works with artists, musicians, artisans, dancers, and other creative workers to help start or grow their own businesses. However, most of her career has been focused on cultural exchange and international education. She also taught English abroad in Chile for three years after graduation.
"I remember being very excited to graduate from Augustana, but also being nervous and scared for what the future would hold. I would like to connect with current students or recent graduates to assure them that they will find their path upon graduation and show them that they have a network of support outside of campus. I can offer students guidance on career choices, professional development, and networking."

Emily Matuseski is the IT Manager of John Deere’s sprayer factories in The Netherlands and Italy. Her responsibilities range from portfolio management to implementing IT strategy and security in the respective countries. Every day is different and provides something new to learn.

I began my academic journey with the intention of majoring in biology, pre-med. Along the way, I changed to economics and history. After graduation, I started a career at John Deere in IT that took me to the Netherlands in 2018. Although my career path has not been traditional, it has been incredibly rewarding."
