"I'd like to be part of Viking Connections because I've always loved connecting with people. While at Augie, I worked as an admissions ambassador and enjoyed the tours, connecting with families and prospective students, sharing my knowledge, and answering any questions. I truly loved my Augie experience and would recommend Augustana to anyone! I enjoy staying up to date with how the campus and college is developing and changing, as well as participating in Alumni events such as the Beginning Teacher Workshop. I would like to continue to connect and assist prospective students as they begin their college experience, and move into their careers as well!"

I've also worked for Doctors Without Borders and been to 60 different countries. After living in New Zealand, I spent 9 years at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and on faculty at USC.  Along the way I climbed three of the seven summits, raced an ironman, got married, and had two children. This year I sold my home and hit the road, living in a trailer with my wife, two kids, and dog. I now enjoy filmmaking, writing, and teaching wilderness & survival medicine.
