"Rethinking Incarceration: Advocating for Justice That Restores"
Students are invited to a discussion about incarceration reform with the Rev. Dominique Gilliard. He will speak about his book "Rethinking Incarceration" (2018).
He is director of racial righteousness and reconciliation for the Evangelical Covenant Church. He serves on the boards of directors for the Christian Community Development Association and Evangelicals for Justice, and was identified by Huffington Post as one of the “Black Christian Leaders Changing the World.”
There will be an additional discussion on April 25 with Dr. Michelle Clifton-Soderstrom where she will give talk on "Resisting Incarceration Through Education".
