International Women's Day film: 'Girl Rising'

In celebration of International Women's Day, the documentary "Girl Rising" will be shown March 9, 16 and 19.

The movie tells the stories of nine girls from nine countries: (Sierra Leone, Haiti, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Peru, Egypt, Nepal, India and Cambodia).

Each girl's story was written by a writer from her country and voiced by a well-known actor. Their stories reflect their struggles to overcome societal or cultural barriers.
