The Transgender Day of Remembrance at Augustana College is an annual event dedicated to honoring the lives of individuals who are transgender who have lost their lives due to violence and discrimination.

During the vigil, members of the Augustana Gender and Sexuality Alliance will read the names of transgender people who lost their lives to violence this year. There will be moments of reflection, fostering a sense of community and advocacy for transgender rights.

Attendees are encouraged to participate in discussions that promote awareness, empathy and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
