International Women’s Day Fair seeks participants

Augustana College will host its first International Women’s Day Fair March 8, sponsored by the Office of International Student and Scholar Services and the Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Program.

This event is a celebration of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and an effort to raise awareness against bias. People of all genders are welcome and encouraged to participate.

The sponsors are seeking participants to host a table in the Gävle Rooms from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. that day. Tables will be used to share information, activities and resources that celebrate women’s achievements, recognize bias and promote equality. Space for poster presentations will be available, and performances also are welcome.
