Introduction to Public Health seats open

Two sections of Introduction to Public Health have open seats this spring for students of any level from all disciplines.

This is for students who wonder what "public health" is beyond the pandemic, who want to know how to keep people and communities healthy, learn from local health experts and make professional connections.

PUBH 100-01 is an evening class, TR 6:30-8:10 p.m. taught by Mariah Benson, MPH, from the Rock Island County Health Department.

PUBH 100-03, TR 8:30-10:10 a.m. is taught by Dr. Lena Hann, who led statewide sexual and reproductive health programs prior to joining Augustana.

If you have news, send it to sharenews@augustana.edu! We love hearing about the achievements of our alumni, students and faculty.
