Make connections at support squad

Student Counseling Services is offering a group aimed at providing a supportive atmosphere for peer connection.

Students will play board and video games together from noon-1 p.m. every Monday when classes are in session, beginning Feb. 20.

The group will meet in the Bahls Center Hellstedt Room on the second floor. Please check in with Cheri in the Counseling reception desk (Bahls Center, second floor, room 206).

There are no therapeutic goals or agenda. This group is all about creating a comfortable, supportive and fun environment for meeting new people. Spending fun time with peers helps us feel a sense of belonging and community, which is fundamental to the Augie experience.

Students do not need a prior or continuing relationship with the counseling center. All are welcome. Contact William Iavarone for more information
