Call for zine and Student Saturday submissions

SAGA is seeking submissions for the spring magazine, with a deadline of Jan. 6. Students of any year, major, or experience are welcome to submit up to three pieces per category: art, poetry, and prose.

SAGA now is producing themed zines throughout the school year. If you're interested in submitting artwork, poetry, or prose related to the first themes of elections and/or autumn, send your work to SAGA at sagamagazine@gmail.com.

Submissions for this round of zines are due by Oct. 30.

In addition, SAGA is looking submissions for the weekly Student Saturdays, featuring new  art and writing every Saturday. Submissions are welcome any time: email sagamagsaturdays@gmail.com with the following information:

Your name,  title of your work(s), and the medium used (flash fiction, short story, poetry, oil painting, etc.)

Either: 1 piece of short fiction (<10,000 words), two poems, two art pieces (2D), one art piece (3D), or a photo series. For submissions in varying media, send as separate submissions. Multiple photographed angles of 3D pieces are accepted. 

Submit prose and poetry in either Google Docs or as Microsoft Word files and any art as a .jpg file.
