ISEP Global Exchange
Overview
Augustana’s membership in the ISEP organization allows us to exchange students with over 165 universities around the globe. Students interested in a destination not offered through other Augustana programs should consider exploring the universities offered by ISEP as an option. It is recommended that students apply to at least 3 options when applying to ISEP as exchange with universities is competitive.
What is ISEP?
ISEP is a global exchange coordinator that brings together over 300 universities and college and allows them to send students to any of the other partners. Augustana students have nearly 170 universities to choose from if they wish to be an exchange student with ISEP.
Details
Requirements and cap: Sophomore status and 3.00 GPA is required. All exchange locations are competitive, so it is recommended to apply for 2-3 options with ISEP after approval by Augustana is obtained.
Fields of study: All majors are welcome. Each university will have its own strengths and limitations. Research into destination universities is vital to the application process.
Budget and fees
Augustana fees: Augustana tuition
Other expenses: Airfare, housing, ground transport, visa fees, meals and discretionary spending. Out of pocket will vary greatly by country and university (due to housing costs). Consult ISEP for estimated housing and out of pocket costs.
Financial aid: All financial aid applies as if on campus. Augie Choice eligible for juniors and seniors.
Locations
With over 160 partner schools, there are a lot of options to choose from. Augustana recommends ISEP for any location not covered by other programs in this catalog. This may be a new destination or a university with a special profile or offering not available on another program. Some examples of unique university placements are:

Housing
Housing and meal plans are included with all programs. The type of housing and the meal structure will vary greatly according to each university. We recommend you review information on the ISEP website for specifics about the target university.
