Viking Score activities: Informational interview

Conduct at least one informational interview with alumni or professionals in your career field of interest (6 pts)

• Logon to Handshake using your email credentials

• Under Career Center select Resources and look for Informational Interview

• Locate the Informational Interview activity attachment

• Complete the activity and share with your career coach in an appointment or via email

Meet with your career coach to discuss what you learned from your interview. Viking Score points are tracked using Handshake and will be automatically added to the database weekly. You may also email the activity to your career coach who will enter your points manually.

Learning outcome: Gain firsthand, relevant information about the realities of working with a particular field, industry or position.
