Give back while learning new skills through 10 hours of volunteer or community service (4 pts each)

Volunteering for a term or a day can expose you to a variety of new experiences.

• Logon to Handshake using your email credentials

• Locate Volunteer positions by clicking Jobs > Filters > More > Volunteer

• Volunteer options may also be available through the Office of Student Life

To be granted Viking Score points for volunteering, stop in at the CORE commons, first floor of the Olin Center weekdays 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.. Be prepared to share the name of the organization for whom you volunteered as well as the date, time and location of the experience. 

You can earn points for up to three volunteer experiences for a total of 12 points.

Learning outcome: Explore career and personal interests, gain experience and marketable skills, build your resume and increase your self-confidence by volunteering in the community.
