Peyton Heisch specializes in sustaining research through two community-based research centers, the Upper Mississippi Center for Sustainable Communities and the Center for the Advancement of Community Health and Wellness. Her role is to ensure projects are going smoothly, while maintaining relationships with community partners. Another important piece of her time is spent communicating with faculty and students who collaborate to make this projects possible and fruitful.
Prior to this position, Peyton studied Environmental Studies and Anthropology at Augustana College. Her leadership within undergraduate research lead to her applying to this position, which she has been in since June 2023. For more information about her work, visit her website.
