Viking River Cruises alumni excursion on the Danube

Augustana is partnering with Viking River Cruises and Viking Travel for an eight-day Danube cruise with alumni and friends of the college.

The route is from Nuremberg to Budapest May 26, 2019 to June 2, 2019, with medieval towns, grand cities and stunning scenery.

Travelers will visit Budapest’s Castle District and cross the famous Chain Bridge. They will explore Göttweig Abbey, one of Austria’s most revered monastic centers, and make dumplings with Wachau Valley apricots.

See Europe’s largest pipe organ in Passau, or travel to Salzburg. Celebrate Vienna’s musical heritage at a concert featuring works by Mozart and Strauss.

President of Augustana College Steve Bahls and Jane Bahls, along with Kai and Jenni Swanson, will be there as hosts.

Enjoy an optional three-night excursion in Prague for $799 per person. That tour would start on May 22, 2019.
