It might be time for a booster
The Centers for Disease Control is advising some people to get COVID-19 booster shots. This might be you if:
• You got one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine at least two months ago.
• You got two doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, and your second dose was at least six months ago.
Everyone who lives or works in an educational setting is eligible.
You can get a shot of the Pfizer vaccine at the Augustana Convenient Care, and it is OK to receive this vaccine even if your previous dose was Moderna or J&J. Also, local pharmacies have both vaccines in stock and available.
Projects for the coming year include:
• Replacement of the all-weather turf on Thorson-Lucken Field.
• Replacement of the athletic floor and indoor track at the PepsiCo Recreation Center.
• Phase 2 of the renovation of the Bergendoff Hall of Fine Arts.
• Exterior improvements to Sorensen Hall.

Laura Kathryn Keenan, a senior from Elmhurst, Ill., has been honored as our student laureate of The Lincoln Academy of Illinois this year.
Cross country runner Michael Gille will compete in the NCAA Championships in Louisville, Ky., this weekend. He is a senior majoring in biology from Roscoe, Ill. Best of luck!
