Campus update: It's not summer but...

Oct. 27, 2022

Time to plan for summer research

It's not too early for current students to start thinking about applying for a Summer Student Research Fellowship, although applications are not due until Feb. 24.

Students can get $300 a week for 5-10 weeks, plus up to $500 in expenses.

Fellowships are open to all students and all majors. Projects are varied and recent topics have included genes and metabolism, how teens' use of tech affects learning, the history of the local Swedish community, and urbanization's impact on beetles.

Students who have a specific research question or project in mind should reach out to their faculty.
