Dr. Dag Blanck awarded 'Stora historiepriset' (Great History Prize)

Dr. Dag Blanck '78, the director of Augustana's Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center and the director of the Swedish Institute for North American Studies at Uppsala University, has been awarded the 2025 Stora historiepriset, one of Sweden’s most prestigious awards for history.

Film: 'Good Will Hunting'

We'll show the movie "Good Will Hunting" and have a popcorn fundraiser for Thurman Perry Foundation to support justice-impacted women and girls.

Sloughfest

African Students Association (ASA) is bringing you AfroFest: A Bridgerton Experience — a night where African heritage intertwines with the refined glamour of the Regency era.

Fiesta Night

Join us on May 8th from 7-10 p.m. in the Quad for Fiesta Night!

Mariachi Monumental de Mexico will be performing with the QC Ballet Folklorico Dancers, and a taco truck and drinks will be available. Activities will include maraca decorating, piñata and games.

Presenting at ASIANetwork Conference – an unforgettable experience

After finishing my Asian studies Senior Inquiry during fall 2024, I had the honor of being accepted into the ASIANetwork Conference, held this past March in San Antonio, Texas. Hosted by Trinity University, the conference brought together about 200 scholars, students and professionals from across the country.
