Symphonic Band to celebrate with 'Opening Day' Oct. 9

The Augustana Symphonic Band will celebrate its first official live performance in nearly 18 months in a concert Oct. 9 entitled "Opening Day."

Moon Festival

Everyone is invited to celebrate the Moon Festival from 6:30-8:30 p.m., a traditional Chinese festival celebrated by many East and Southeast Asian countries.

Photo Club meeting

The Photo Club meeting will include an introduction to manual photography, ISO, shutter speed and focal points. 

 

24th Frieze Lectures to consider "Best. Book. Ever."

Augustana College faculty will present their choices for "Best. Book. Ever." in the annual Frieze Lectures at the Rock Island Public Library.

Rowen Schussheim-Anderson tour and talk

Students to celebrate Constitution Day Sept. 17

In recognition of Constitution Day Sept. 17, Augustana students will gather on the Viking Plaza to address their favorite parts of the 234-year-old document.

National Coming Out Day presentation

Chase Norris, executive director of Clock, Inc., will discuss "LGBT Basics" in this presentation focused on increasing awareness related to these identities.

Clock, Inc. is a local community center for LGBT+ people.
