Stand Out: Interviewing and dress code

The Office of Student Inclusion and Diversity and CORE will offer a Stand Out workshop on  interviewing and dress code.

This series of workshops helps students build job readiness skills and a professional image. Refreshments will be served.

Grace Dwyer, piano and violin

Grace Dwyer will perform her senior recital on violin and piano, accompanied by Charles Schmidt, piano.

She is from Hawthorn Woods, Ill., and is majoring in music and Spanish.

J-term Fair

Find out about dozens of new, innovative ways to learn during 2020's inaugural J-term. Professors will be on hand to share what they are planning from 1-4 p.m.

Hot cocoa will be served. The first 50 students will receive a free "Get Ready to Explore More" mug.

Ping Pong Club info meeting

Students interested in joining the ping pong club are invited to come to the informational meeting. This will be a short meeting to go over the basics of what the club is about, but all are welcome to stick around and play ping pong.

Lecture: "Too Close to the Hereafter: Mahler and the Curse of the Ninth"

Dr. Jacob Bancks, associate professor of music at Augustana and composer, will discuss Gustav Mahler and the “curse of the ninth.”

Tea Talks: 'The Possible Life in French: Women, Non-Binary Folks, and the Struggle to Exist in Language'

The Women's & Gender Studies Tea Talks series features faculty, staff and guest speakers on a range of topics. Today, Dr. Kiki Kosnick, assistant professor of French, will speak on "The Possible Life in French: Women, Non-Binary Folks, and the Struggle to Exist in Language."

PACE holiday party

The PACE holiday party will offer free food, games and an ugly sweater contest!

PACE stands for Preparation, Awareness, Community and Engagement.
