College Invitational opening reception

The 10th annual College Invitational at the Figge Art Museum will open with a reception at 5:30 p.m. and awards at 6:30.

La noche de tapas (Tapas Night)

Spanish Club will host La noche de tapas (Tapas Night) from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Learn how to cook a variety of Spanish tapas.

Baccalaureate Service

The Rev. Christina Garrett Klein '08, pastor of Edgebrook Lutheran Church, Chicago, will be this year's Baccalaureate speaker. 

Dr. Peter Xiao Exhibition Talk, "Body, No Mind"

Dr. Peter Xiao, Augustana professor of art and graphic design, will talk about his work on view at Gallery West through May 31. 

There will be live music by Roger Carlson, and snacks and drinks at this closing reception.

Student Showcase

Leo Nguyen will perform stand-up comedy, and Erin Larkin will perform on guitar. There will also be a raffle held for a basket of chocolate. 

Disney Club info meeting

If you love all things Disney, this could be the group for you. There will be a Disney Club informational meeting to discuss activities for next year.

Founders Day Service

This service celebrates the 158th anniversary of both the Augustana Lutheran Church in America and Augustana College and Theological Seminary, and the 168th anniversary of the Andover Lutheran congregation in Andover, Ill.

Fundraiser at Kavanaugh's

The Augustana Psychology Department and the Guatemala Study Abroad program will be partnering with Kavanaugh's to support Amigos Sin Fronteras and the people of Santa Catarina. The fundraiser will last from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. 

The Salon: Megan Havard

The Salon is a weekly gathering of students, faculty, staff, and administrators from across campus each Thursday. It is a time and place for discussion of interdisciplinary ideas and shared experiences; everyone is welcome to participate.

A Night of Noise

The Gender and Sexuality Alliance will present A Night of Noise 2018 drag show. The Augustana community and off-campus guests are invited.

There will be music, entertainment and refreshments.

The event supports the LGBT+ community.
