MPB Comedy Club — Orlando Baxter

MPB Comedy Club invites all students to a night of comedy with a performance done by Orlando Baxter. Baxter is known for his performances on NBC's Standup for Diversity Case and TBS's Conan. Augustana's own Heywire group will open for him. 

Beverages will be provided and two Echo Dots will be raffled off.

ENTM + Fresh Films intro session

Learn how Augustana's new entertainment and media minor, plus internships with Fresh Films, can prepare you for careers in film, TV, digital, and even music!  The minor is open to all Augustana students.  Fresh Films internships are open to all students and give you access to equipment and hands-on real world experience working in film accounting, marketing, editing, production and producing year round.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. address

Dr. Monica Smith, vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion, will give a keynote address, "Where Do We Go From Here?", on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Overflow seating is available in Olin auditorium for a live-stream.

Campus activities and classes will end at 3:20 p.m. and resume at 5 p.m.

Augustana Symphonic Band concert

The Augustana Symphonic Band will perform at locations in Illinois and Wisconsin on its February tour.

The band, established in 1874, performs music written for the wind band. It is conducted by Dr. James Lambrecht. Alumni, families and friends of the college are invited to attend one of these free performances in their area:
