Geography senior research presentations will take place Tuesday (10:30 a.m.-noon and 2:30-4:20 p.m.) and Thursday (2:30-3:30 p.m.)

Black History Month Film: "13th"

The Student Government Association will present the documentary "13th" in honor of Black History Month.

Mindfulness Mini-Retreat

The Office of Multicultural Services will be hosting a Mindfulness Mini-Retreat. 

Participants will learn and practice mindfulness techniques to reduce stress, increase focus, and cultivate compassion through:

Martini Swingers: Tango Lesson

The Martini Swingers will be holding their final tango lesson of the term.

Black History Trivia Night

The Black Student Union will be hosting a Black History Trivia Night.

Prizes will be given and snacks will be provided.

Discussion on "The Essential Rumi" - Dr. Cyrus Zargar

Dr. Cyrus Zargar, professor of religion at Augustana, will lead a discussion on "The Essential Rumi" at the Bettendorf Library Contemporary Books Group.

Panel Discussion: "The Rise of Fake News" - featuring WVIK News Director, Herb Trix

The Davenport Public Library will be hosting a panel discussion on the rise of fake news. All are welcome to attend.

Panelists will include:

Alan Sivell (Journalism Professor, St. Ambrose University)
Autumn Phillips (Executive Editor, Quad City Times)

Heywire, Augustana’s student improv group, offers students a break from the stress of college life. To broaden their abilities for a wider audience, the group recently competed for the first time at in the lllinois Collegiate Improv Regionals.
