Neurodivergent Student Union is a group to provide a safe and supportive place on campus for autistic students and allies. Community education, neurodiversity, social justice, and acceptance are at the core of this group. This group also aims to provide a support system for autistic students at Augustana as well as advocate for change to the community and policies if/when necessary.

Why I chose Augustana College
From the first day I visited, I knew Augustana was the school for me. I visited Augustana in November 2022 and as soon as I arrived, I felt welcomed. During my college decision-making process, what really stood out to me was how great my campus tour was.
MLK celebration to include youth forum
Passing the Torch, an annual community-wide celebration and tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will take place Jan. 16 at Augustana. For the first time, the celebration will include a community youth forum.

Five years of Augustana’s January Term
Augustana College students take a break from their 15-week semester schedule to engage in a month-long period of intensive learning during January Term, or J-term. This three-and-a-half week course was added as part of the college’s transition to semesters in 2019-2020.
