Wellness checks are an important part of preventive care, helping you stay informed about your health before concerns arise. Unlike diagnostic testing — which is designed to address specific medical issues and may result in additional costs — wellness visits focus on maintaining overall well-being. For employees enrolled in the college’s health insurance plan, preventive wellness visits are generally covered at 100% when received in-network, making it easier to prioritize routine care.
