Google Developers Group
Google Developer Student Club is a university-based community group for students interested in growing as a developer, regardless of background and experience. By joining GDSC, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for the local community. Don't worry if you haven't ever coded before! Most of our workshops are beginner-friendly with free resources provided for self-learning, so make sure to check them out on this platform!
Film Club
The Film Club is a student-run group for movie lovers and aspiring filmmakers. They meet to screen films, discuss cinema, and collaborate on student film projects. The club also hosts events meant to give members hands-on experience in production, editing, and storytelling. Open to all majors, the Film Club fosters creativity, community, and a passion for film at Augie.
Cricket Club
The Cricket Club gives students a fun, low-pressure way to learn and play cricket. Open to all skill levels, the club organizes regular practices and friendly matches. Members build teamwork, fitness, and sportsmanship while sharing the excitement of one of the world’s most dynamic sports. Whether students are experienced players or complete beginners, the intramural cricket club offers a welcoming community and an engaging athletic experience.

The Campus Cupboard aims to combat the food insecurity and health disparities faced by the students of Augustana College. The Campus Cupboard is a group that we encourage all students to support and receive support from if they are in need.
Augustana Oratorio Society to perform Handel's 'Messiah'
George Frideric Handel’s “Messiah” will be performed by the Augustana Oratorio Society, conducted by Dr. Jon Hurty. Soloists are Michelle Areyzaga, soprano; Steven Soph, tenor; Jonathan Woody, bass-baritone; and Jessye Wright, mezzo soprano. A professional orchestra will accompany the performance.
Augustana partners with local organizations to improve maternal care
Augustana's Center for the Advancement of Community Health and Wellness (CACHW) is partnering with Community Health Care (CHC), Iowa Black Doula Collective, and Akwaaba QC to improve maternal care in the region.
