Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP) Grant

By applying for financial aid and agreeing to share that information with the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) you have been considered for the State of Illinois (IL) Monetary Award Program (MAP) Grant. All MAP-approved institutions are required by the State of Illinois to announce MAP Grant awards to students who are enrolled or intending to enroll at their institution. An award amount is included in your financial aid package if you have met the eligibility criteria.

Learning Perspective course descriptions, 2026-27 fall semester

All Augustana students must complete at least one course in each of the six Learning Perspectives (LP) before graduation. First-year students often take one or two LP courses in their first semester. The courses in this document are appropriate for first-year students and have no prerequisites unless noted.

Mr. Augustana is Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. in Centennial Hall. This mock male beauty pageant is designed to be a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and is put on by the Chi Alpha Pi sorority. Contestants compete in categories of formal wear, swimwear, talent, and question and answer.

Symposium Days feature guest speakers, faculty and student presentations, advising sessions and opportunities to practice the liberal arts and engage with the campus community. Everyone is encouraged to attend sessions throughout the day. This year's fall Symposium Day theme is Transformation.
