Jim Sandberg is a CPA and Manager at Ernst & Young in Chicago working in the financial accounting advisory services practice. He works as a business advisor helping clients' finance function transform as they go through transactions. Jim started his career at Deloitte where he worked in audit for six years.
"I received great support from staff, faculty and alumni during my time at Augustana which prepared me to take the CPA exam and work at a Big Four accounting firm. Like many Augie students, I grew up in Colorado, and I share the experience of adjusting to life in the Midwest and starting a career in Chicago. I hope I can help students who are interested in working at a public accounting firm or taking the CPA exam.
By sharing my own experiences, connecting students with other Augie alumni in various cities, and connecting students with alumni working in various lines of work (accounting, finance, tax and consulting), I hope to help students recognize the great opportunities that an Augustan degree provides."

Post-grad: Augustana Accounting Certificate Program
