John and Lilly Werner papers, 1906-1994
This collection contains the personal papers of John and Lilly Werner, both Swedish immigrants, who helped establish and financially support the Cultural Heritage Foundation of the American Union of Swedish Singers. The collection contains legal documents (including citizenship records), Merchant Marine and Navy service paperwork, photographs of the Werner Automotive Supply Company, and documentation of awards presented to John Werner.

This collection of portraits contains many Scandinavian American persons of notable importance to Augustana College as well as to greater North America and Sweden. Also includes photographs of Scandinavian American churches and church and social groups.

Luther Junior College and Academy (Wahoo, Neb.) records, 1903-1961
Luther Junior College and Academy was founded in 1883 in Wahoo, Nebraska. In 1962, Luther Junior College and Academy merged with Midland College in Fremont, Nebraska, and changed its name to Midland Lutheran College. In 2010, Midland Lutheran College changed its name to Midland University. This collection includes a historical essay titled “Luther Junior College and Academy,” various school newsletters and publications, a brochure for prospective students, school choir promotions, and black and white photographs, including some of the basketball team.
