Augustana offers virtual and small group visits for all students.
Parking permit information for first-year students
First-year students are mailed a parking permit packet in mid-July. If there are not enough spaces in a given residence hall lot, a lottery is used to assign parking.

Augustana College is home to a diverse, vibrant, and engaged community of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and asexual (LGBTQIA+), and allied students, staff, and faculty.

Special events for high school students: 2024 summer visit days are June 13, June 17, July 11, July 15, July 22 and Aug. 1, 2024.
Viking Connections: Morgan Anderson
Morgan Anderson works for the Henry County Soil and Water Conservation District in Cambridge, Ill. She works with land owners to implement conservation work.
"I can offer mentorship and job shadow opportunities. I can also give guidance to students interested in exploratory internship experiences. As a recent grad, I can give good advice about what it’s like looking for a job straight out of college. I am also a local resident living near campus and would love to chat to students. When I was at Augie I was fortunate to have had four internship experiences in my four years at Augie. I want to be able to offer some of the same experiences."

Five more Vikings named Academic All-Americans — 183 total
Five student-athletes — from hometowns in Illinois, Hawai'i, Texas and Tennessee — are the college's most recent Academic All-Americans. Now with 183 Academic All-Americans, Augustana ranks 13th among the NCAA’s 1,100 schools in DI, DII and DIII across the country.
