Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honors Society

The purpose of this, the Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Psi Omega is to stimulate interest in theatre activities at Augustana College: Rock Island, Illinois and to secure for the college/university all the advantages and mutual helpfulness provided by a large national honor society. Our chapter will be founded according the values of the chapter and remain focused in

Four goals:

• Respect and unity between theatre and the Liberal Arts
• Offering fellowship/opportunities to the artists of our chapter
• Providing service to our community
• Awarding the right to theatric experimentation to all those looking for a stage.

By electing students to membership, the society provides a reward for their participation in theatre activities of the college/university and support in their endeavors. The chapter is not intended to take the place of any existing theatre organization.
