Leland Horberg was a student at Augustana College from 1929 to 1932. Collection consists of Horberg’s typewritten manuscript “Janson and the Bishop Hill Colony, a Study of a Sectarian Group,” most likely written for a class at Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois sometime between 1929-1932.

Leland Horberg was a student at Augustana College from 1929-1932. He was from Cambridge, Illinois and majored in economics. He was involved in Pi Alpha Rho, Wennerbergs, Inter-fraternity Council, Luceum Board, Rockety-I, class president, intramural basketball, and vice president of the students’ union.
