CELTS event: Work-in-progress faculty research

Inspired by the connections made during our fall Community Fridays, this event acts like 'speed dating' for research, inviting faculty to share anything from a rough five-minute idea to a structured project. It is a casual forum designed to help you discover what colleagues are working on and spark new, cross-disciplinary collaborations.

Organized by the Center for Engaged Learning, Teaching, and Scholarship (CELTS).

Community Friday Series

Hosted by CELTS, this monthly programming series provides a relaxed, catered space for educators to build community and foster professional mentorship through informal conversation. While each session features a specific theme — ranging from celebrating undergraduate research mentors to "speed dating" for new research ideas — the focus remains on breaking down academic silos rather than formal presentations. These gatherings, held at the Wilson Center, aim to spark cross-disciplinary collaborations and strengthen the bonds between colleagues as friends and mentors. Please RSVP for Community Friday events today!

This session is intended for Augustana instructors (faculty and staff), not students. If you are a student interested in educational development, check out Tredway Library, TRIO, the Reading/Writing Center, CORE,  the STEM/Q Center in Hanson, or the Learning Commons! There are excellent resources, faculty, and staff to support you!
