SVCC signs agreement with Augustana College
Sauk Valley Community College (SVCC) has entered into an agreement with Augustana College to enhance and expand opportunities for students enrolled at SVCC. This agreement allows students enrolling at SVCC with the intention of completing an associate of arts program to apply to Augustana at the same time.

Augie sends two teams to CFA Challenge finals
Augustana’s two CFA Institute Research Challenge teams presented their research at Morningstar, Inc., hosted by the CFA Society Chicago. Out of 16 teams, seven advanced as finalists, including Augustana’s two teams. “The competition was fierce,” said Dr. Lina Zhou, the teams' faculty advisor.

Dr. Dianna Shandy, professor of anthropology and former associate provost for strategic initiatives and interim inaugural dean of the faculty at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn., has been selected as Augustana College's next provost.

Carr '23 named Augustana’s 178th Academic All-American
Viking basketball's Daniel Carr '23 has been named an Academic All-American, one of the highest honors for collegiate student-athletes. Augustana ranks No. 1 in the CCIW and seventh in NCAA DIII in number of Academic All-Americans.

Augustana expands access to gender-affirming voice therapy
A $10,000 grant will allow Augustana College's Barbara A. Roseman Center for Speech, Language, and Hearing to increase access to gender-affirming voice therapy for transgender and gender non-conforming individuals.
Endre Rice to return to perform jazz concert

Augustana, Rock Island partner on Lincoln Park tennis complex
A joint partnership between Augustana College and the city of Rock Island will bring a new tennis court complex to Lincoln Park. The new complex is expected to open by Labor Day for college and public use.
Augustana team scores in top 10% worldwide in business simulation
In her January term business class, Dr. Amanda Baugous assigned a virtual competitive simulation in which teams of students “run” their own business. One team scored in the top 10% in the world.
