Augustana student groups are planning a number of hands-on activities for Green Week April 18-23. Their goal is to promote environmental issues and encourage campus to connect with nature.

Augustana President Steven Bahls will participate in the first Higher Education Summit of the United States and Mexico, which will take place in Guadalajara, Mexico. The summit is named “Reaffirming the North American Spirit of Collaboration in Higher Education: Creating Bridges of Communications.”

Holocaust survivor to speak on campus

Doris Fogel will present the annual talk by a Holocaust survivor, sponsored by the Center for the Study of Judaism and Jewish Culture, on Sunday, April 24, at 7 p.m. in Wallenberg Hall inside the Denkmann Memorial Building (3520 7th Ave., Rock Island). The presentation is free and open to the public.
