Diversity, equity and inclusion calendar

At Augustana, we continually strive to be a more welcoming and inclusive community. The Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Office for Student Inclusion and Diversity, the Office of International Student and Scholar Services, as well as many academic departments and other groups on campus, continually provide meaningful opportunities for the campus community to engage in dialogue, share in activities and support ongoing conversations.

Eid

Eid al-Fitr is the earlier of the two official holidays celebrated within Islam. Eid al-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan.

Holi

Holi is the Hindu festival of colors celebrated in Nepal and India. This event will include famous snacks from India and Nepal as per custom, and the campus community will come together to play with colors and dance to music outdoors.
