Viking Connections: Alex Odenkirk

Alex Odenkirk

Alex Odenkirk is the Chief of Staff at Prosperous Robotics Inc. in Brooklyn, NY. His role covers a lot of ground, as he works across finance, operations, marketing, sales, HR, and fundraising.

"I had a fantastic time at Augustana, and would love the opportunity to give back to that community. It's always a scary prospect stepping out into the world after graduation, especially when the job market leaves something to be desired. Being a part of our alumni network and helping to alleviate that fear is a wonderful opportunity. Don't be shy, shoot me a note and see if I can help!

As for what I can provide, I have 6 years of experience reviewing resumes and assisting in job hunts from my role as a Senior Talent Director at Robert Half. My focus was in finance and accounting in the Seattle area, but I've been able to help a few Augie alumni across the country in the tech, legal, and administrative fields over the years. I recently completed my MBA at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, which gave me a significant crash course in a variety of career paths like Consulting, Investment Banking, Entrepreneurship, Corporate Strategy, Brand Management, and Tech Product Management I'd be happy to share whatever tricks of the trade I've picked up with any current or former Augustana students."

Graduation year: 2015

Majors: Applied mathematics and economics

Campus activities: Track and cross country, Rho Nu Delta, OSL (Emerge, Leadership Academy, SLPB), Student Government, Epsilon Tau Pi (Eagle Scout Fraternity)
