Food Truck Friday
The Office of Student Life has a new series called Food Truck Fridays! From 1-2 p.m., OSL will bring a different local food truck to the Lower Quad and pay for the first 50 students to eat for free. The series will run every Friday until Oct. 3.
Homecoming Trash Dash
The annual Homecoming Trash Dash is being hosted by Sierra Club on Sunday, Sept. 21, from 12-3 p.m. on the patio outside of the Brew.
Homecoming Sing Competition and Coronation
For the last day of Homecoming 2025, there will be a sing competition followed by the coronation of the homecoming court.
Homecoming Rope Pull and Phrig Competition
Rope pull: The rope pull is a great chance to show off your Augustana school spirit. Battle other groups from different organizations around campus to find out who is the strongest. Hit the weights hard!
Homecoming Cardboard Regatta
For the third day of Homecoming 2025 there will be a cardboard regatta. The cardboard regatta originated in 1974 at Southern Illinois University, and Augustana's Homecoming Committee enjoys joining in on the fun with their own rendition of the sport.
Homecoming Talent Show
The talent showcase is an evening of entertainment featuring various types of acts. Acts are performed by students and faculty and consist of everything from stand-up comedy and skits to dancing and music.

Augustana College named a national ‘Dream School’ in new book by bestselling author
Augustana was one of 75 U.S. colleges and universities named as a "Dream School" from among 3,900 institutions Jeffrey Selingo researched for his latest book. Augustana is one of only three Illinois colleges/universities on the "Dream School" list.
India J-term study abroad info session
This info session will describe the India J-term study abroad program taking place January 2026. Students are invited to come learn more about the program and potential scholarships and grants.
