Low Brass Studio Bordogni Duet Performances

The Augustana Low Brass Ensemble will perform.

Low brass are the family of brass instruments consisting of trombones, euphoniums and baritones and tubas.

Night of Noise

Night of Noise marks the end of a Day of Silence, when students worldwide take a day-long vow of silence to honor those in the LGBTQ+ community whose voices often go unheard.

This event is open to the Augustana community and their guests.

Blood drive

The Student Government Association will host a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All who attempt to donate will receive a voucher to redeem for a cooler or gift card, and a service hour.

Appointments are strongly encouraged. Please eat before donating and bring a photo ID. 

Alumni Gapen, True tapped to lead Augustana Board

Mike Gapen, a 1991 Augustana graduate, and Dr. Cheryl True, a 1990 graduate, were selected at the March Board of Trustees meeting. 

Honor Council applications due April 28

Students who are interested in working to uphold the Augustana Honor Code are invited to apply to join the 2023-2024 Honor Council.

Aubrey Barnes, a local spoken word artist, will perform.

Student recital: Maria Coulter, voice

Maria Coulter will perform a voice recital. She is a senior from Peoria, Ill., majoring in music performance and communication studies.

Student recital: Jared Reiling, piano

Jared Reiling will perform a piano recital.

As a mathematics and piano performance major, Reiling credits his academic advisors for helping him discover how his two majors are connected.
