Committing to College: Many Stories, One Augustana
From 1-3 p.m., the Office of Admissions will host an event highlighting the many journeys and stories that bring students to Augustana.

Roots and Crown
Roots & Crowns: Beauty, Culture, and Crowned Confidence is a special event centered on hair, identity, and self-expression. Join us for an evening of conversation, community, and learning as we visit a local hair business to hear from the owners about entrepreneurship and hair care, explore products, and enjoy giveaways while celebrating beauty and confidence.
Transportation will be provided. Pick-up is at 4:30 p.m. at the Gerber Center entrance near the Dining Hall. Students will be dropped back off at the Gerber Center by 7 p.m.

The Office of International Student and Scholar Services will host Global Cafe from noon-2 p.m., a free gathering where attendees can enjoy global drinks and snacks while connecting with others as part of Culture & Connection Week.

NAMI on Campus will host a conversation-centered event focused on growth, identity, and belonging.

Saveurs d’Afrique (Flavors of Africa)
The Office of Student Cultural Connection will host Saveurs d’Afrique (Flavors of Africa), where attendees can experience African cultures through food, conversation, and storytelling. The event will feature dishes, short personal stories connected to each dish, and space for attendees to connect through shared culinary traditions. A free meal will be provided.
RSVP is required, and attendance is limited to 25.

Sierra Club meeting
The Sierra Club will hold its weekly meeting to round out Earth Week.
Planting by the Slough
Augustana’s grounds crew will lead students in planting plants around the Slough from 1-2 p.m. Gloves and tools will be provided. Students are welcome to stay for the whole time or part of the time to assist.
Student groups are hosting hands-on activities and events for Earth Week. All are invited to connect with nature and help make an impact on campus.
