Augustana College’s campus is closed Monday, March 16, due to weather conditions. This includes all athletic and evening activities, PepsiCo Recreation Center and Thomas Tredway Library.
Dining services will remain open on a regular schedule.
Representatives from the Trinity College of Nursing will staff an informational table for students from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Representatives from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign will staff an informational table about master's programs for students from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Managed by the Waste Commission of Scott County, the Make It Yours program allows volunteers to adopt a local park or site for a minimum of two cleanup projects per year. All cleaning supplies are provided by the waste commission.
A $10,000 grant allows Augustana College's Barbara A. Roseman Center for Speech, Language, and Hearing to increase access to gender-affirming voice therapy for transgender and gender non-conforming individuals.
This year's Shades of Beauty Summit, themed Brunch and Bloom, will include brunch, activities, giveaways and a panel of Augustana leaders (Sangeetha Rayapati, Sasha Zainal, Dr. Lauren Hammond and Laura Kestner Ricketts).
