Language and Culture Booth

Visit the Language and Culture Booth to find out about different countries and cultures. Learn a fun fact about a  country or a phrase from a different language. Open until 5 p.m.

Latinx Jeopardy!

Latinx Unidos challenges you to test your cultural knowledge at LatinX Jeopardy night! Categories include Latinx pop culture, history, music, sports and food. Up to five teams of four people are allowed per room. Prizes included.

International Street Fest

The Office of International Student and Scholar Services will sponsor the annual International Street Fest. Students showcase their talents and unique cultures to the campus community through fashion, dance, poetry, music and more.

Dr. Anders Bo Rasmussen will give a talk, ""An End to All Questions": Scandinavian Immigrants, Abolition, and the Impeachment of President Johnson."

Dr. Rasmussen is an associate professor of US history at the University of Southern Denmark.

Understanding the Environmental History of Swedish America through Veterinary Scrapbooks, Farm Advertisements, and Mining Diaries

Dr. Brian Leech will give a talk, “Animals/Vegetables/Minerals: Understanding the Environmental History of Swedish America through Veterinary Scrapbooks, Farm Advertisements, and Mining Diaries.” 

Dr. Leech is an associate professor of history at Augustana.
