'Vagina Monologues' info meeting
"The Vagina Monologues" is returning to Augustana April 22-24. This is a performance of personal monologues by Eve Ensler on topics including sexual experiences, body image, vaginal care, etc.).
Anyone interested in participating in the production is invited to an informational meeting, either March 14 or March 16 from 5-5:30 p.m. in Olin 305.
More information about getting involved on or offstage will be shared at the meetings.

The Implications of Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine
Dr. William Reisinger of the University of Iowa will discuss the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He is a guest of the Augustana political science department.
The campus community may attend in person or virtually.
Dr. Reisinger is know for his expertise on Russia and recently was interviewed on National Public Radio.
Jazz masterclass with Matt Wilson
New York-based drummer Matt Wilson, named 2018 Musician of the Year by the Jazz Journalists Association, will offer a free masterclass/clinic for students from Augustana College and St. Ambrose University The clinic is open to the public.
At 8 p.m., Wilson and his Arts & Crafts ensemble will perform a free concert in Wallenberg Hall.
Originally from Knoxville, Ill., Wilson joins Gary Versace on piano, Martin Wind on bass, and Mike Rodriguez on trumpet in a highly regarded jazz quartet.
The class and performance are sponsored by Augustana College and St. Ambrose University, with additional financial assistance from the Augustana Humanities Fund.
Poem to Song
Poems by seven area poets become new songs by nine composers. Poets will include Augustana's Farah Marklevits and Beth Roberts, and composers include Jacob Bancks, associate professor of music, and Monica Gil '17.
Davenport native Lily Arbisser, soprano, will make her Chamber Music Quad Cities debut.
Other poets are Audra Kerr Brown, Joe Chambers, Therese Guise, Carl Herzig and Johnnie Woods> Poets will read their poems aloud; each reading will be followed by a song using that poem as text.
Other composers include Brian Baxter from the Quad City Symphony, William Campbell, St. Ambrose University, Patrick Castillo, Monica Gil, Robinson McClellan, Thomas Sauer, Nathan Shields and Suzanne Sorkin.
