Latinx Unidos celebrates 25 years

Past and present members of Latinx Unidos (formerly Latinos Unidos) will come together this Homecoming to celebrate 25 years at Augustana.

Chinese Club: mahjong

Chinese Club will play mahjong at its meeting. All are invited, and no experience is needed.

Habitat event postponed

Habitat for Humanity builds simple, affordable houses for and in partnership with families in need. Students who would like to get involved are invited to attend a Habitat meeting, every Thursday at this time.

Students interested in the summer French program in Dijon, France, are invited to learn about it.

Tertulias Spanish Language Table

Tertulias Spanish language table is open to anyone who would like to practice language skills in an informal atmosphere.

Mid-Autumn Festival

The Asian Student Organization will be hosting their annual event - the Mid-Autumn Festival - from 7-9 p.m. 

Donations event for SafePath

Ladies of Vital Essence (LOVE) are helping put together donation baskets, cards, and other items for SafePath's Domestic Violence Shelter. 

L.O.V.E. is a group on campus that promotes unity among all women.

Dr. Chris Strunk, assistant professor of geography, will present a talk on his research: "Resettlement Ecologies: Refugees, Agrodiversity and Belonging in Rock Island."

Greece Study Abroad Info Meeting

Students are invited to learn about the spring Learning Community in Greece. Applications still are being accepted.

Sports Medicine Club Meeting

Sports Medicine Club will be having their first meeting of the year. There will be an opportunity to meet current members and athletic trainers, talk about the year's activities (including job opportunities), eat, and play trivia.
