Students are invited to audition for Cabaret Night, which will be held April 21 at 7pm in Potter Hall.
Those interested should have a performance piece ready. Anything musical theater, jazz, pop, or nonclassical is welcome.

Retiring Dean Campbell reflects on changes
Dr. Evelyn S. Campbell, vice president and dean of student life at Augustana, has announced her retirement this summer from the leadership position she has held since 1991.

Story Slam
Damascus Road will be hosting a Story Slam with the theme of "Captures, Close Calls, and Clean Getaways."
Prepare your true, five-minute story about finding yourself in a sticky situation. Pockets emptied to reveal contraband, the release of a hidden booby trap, all eyes in the lecture hall on you, in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or tell a tale about sliding by, zigging when they thought you would zag, slipping through fingers, walking right out the front door.
The best story of the night (as voted by the audience) will walk away with a $25 Amazon card and the admiration of all.

Architectural tour of Washington, D.C.
Alumni in the Washington, D.C., area are invited to an architectural tour led by Dr. Mary Em Kirn, Augustana professor emerita of art history.
The tour will begin at 11 a.m. in front of the Treasury Building on Pennsylvania Avenue, and conclude at 1 p.m. with a lunch at Loeb's NY Deli on 1712 I Street NW.
Tickets are $20 and include lunch.
Dr. Kirn taught art history at Augustana College for 27 years, including seven European Terms. She has traveled extensively, researching works of art in many of the major museums in Europe and the United States. Since retirement, she continues to give art history lectures in southwest Florida and has led five Art Adventure tours to Italy, France, and Belgium. In October 2018, her next Art Adventure tour will be focused on London.
