List of Senior Honors for 2020
Augustana College traditionally holds a Senior Honors Convocation each May in Centennial Hall. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony could not be held on campus this year. Following is the program for the event.

Honoring Augustana Choir directors
To honor the legacy of two Augustana Choir directors — Dr. Henry Veld and Don Morrison — challenges have been established to name the new rehearsal rooms after them. A third challenge in the name of the family of current conductor Dr. Jon Hurty will transform Bergendoff’s Larson Hall, the Augustana Choir’s home since 1959.

LaGow '77 memorial scholarship and departmental gift help music education students excel
Music education was always close to the heart of Michael LaGow '77. He studied music education at Augustana and played flute in the Augustana Symphonic Band. Following his graduation, he continued his passion for music education by teaching flute lessons and playing in local music ensembles. LaGow passed away in 2022, and his love for Augustana music education continued with a surprise estate gift directed to support the music education department.
