Computer Labs

Augustana maintains a number of academic computing labs throughout campus. Some departmental labs and clusters of computers provide specialized software or hardware. Olin computer classrooms also function as computer labs when they are not reserved for use. Other labs generally cannot be reserved and are open for use during normal building hours.

ITS System Upgrade Schedule

System upgrades are done:

  • The first Tuesday of the month: 4AM - 11AM (7 hrs)
  • Remaining Tuesdays - 4AM - 8AM (4 hrs)

Other planned maintenance - with at least a 24hr advance notice.

WVIK's Pearce elevated to national role with NPR

Jay Pearce, CEO and general manager of WVIK, Quad Cities NPR, has been named to the board of directors of National Public Radio. Pearce will travel to Washington, D.C., for orientation in September, then will begin his three-year-term in November.

The Augustana Institutional Review Board is a committee reporting to the administration and responsible for approving campus research involving human participants.

Stone Lectureship in Judaism

The Stone Lectureship in Judaism was established in 1983 by family and friends of Dr. and Mrs. Alex B. Stone. The purpose of the endowment is to provide a yearly lecture and an expanded program in Judaic studies at Augustana College. The lectures began in 1984.
