2025 MLK Day celebration schedule

Augustana College's annual celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s life and legacy will take place Jan. 20-24. The theme of the event is "Continuing the Legacy: Service, Justice and Action."

2024 in review: BESLA program, Augie Choice expansion and more

2024 brought opportunities for engaged learning with an expansion of Augustana's Augie Choice program, a grant supporting the development of a business-liberal arts scholars program and the unveiling of a new state-of-the-art film production facility.

Security reporting

The offices of the Dean of Students and Police and Public Safety publish an annual crime report. A daily log of reported crimes is maintained by the Office of Police and Public Safety and is available weekdays between the hours of 7 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Police and Public Safety Dispatch Center on the ground floor of Sorensen Hall, 639 38th St., Rock Island, Ill.

On Monday, Augustana kicked off its weeklong celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy of service, justice and empowerment with words to encourage students interested in continuing Dr. King's work.
