Black Student Union

The Black Student Union provides an intellectually stimulating, identity inclusive, and socially conscious environment to the campus community. The Black Student Union's main purpose is to educate the campus community about the Black experience; debunking stereotypes, expressing diversity to the campus and outside communities, and advocating for social change.

In doing so, the Black Student Union hopes to create an enriching academic and social college environment for students. Another goal is to bring fun times and create great memories.

BSU meets weekly, and sponsors several activities on campus each year, including the Welcome Week back-to-school barbecue, all at the Black Culture House.
