Gamma Alpha Beta marks 100 years

During Homecoming 2017, GABs will celebrate the fraternity's 100th anniversary at Augustana.

Friday, Oct. 13

8 a.m.–6 p.m.: Registration and ticket pick-up, Brunner Theatre Center (formerly the College Center). Visit what used to be the College Center to see its transformation to the Brunner Theatre Center. Pick up your tickets and GAB merchandise for the weekend. 

Golf outing at TPC Deere Run, 3100 Heather Knoll, Silvis, Ill.; $79 golf, $18 lunch after golf

Optional spouse/significant other events while GABs are golfing, etc.

Hospitality area for GABs on campus which will remain open throughout the weekend

Coronation & SING

After SING (or as an alternative) GAB alumni and guests gather at Kavanugh’s Hilltop on 30th St.

Saturday, Oct. 14

8 a.m.–3 p.m.: Registration and ticket pick-up, Brunner Theatre Center (formerly the College Center). 

Optional events on campus: art museum tour, campus tour, departmental open houses

11:30 a.m.: Pre-game picnic, Gerber Center, main dining hall. Join all alumni for Augustana’s annual pre-game picnic in the Quad. There will be a section reserved for all GAB alumni to sit together. 

1 p.m.: Viking football: GABs sit together

After football game: GAB picture in Carver or football stadium stands

Post-game reception in Ken Anderson Club

100th Anniversary dinner at Holiday Inn, Rock Island. 7 p.m. reception: with drinks, memorabilia available, hors d’oeuvres, and 8 p.m. dinner

Sunday, Oct. 15

9 a.m.: Breakfast buffet at Holiday Inn
