Augie Sweethearts: Amanda and Mark Baron, Class of 2012

You could say our family has an “Augustana Love Story.” I am the oldest of the three Beveroth siblings: Amanda, Amelia, and Andrew. Not only did all three of us Beveroth kids attend Augie, but all three of us also met our sweet hearts at Augie. Our Augustana Love Story is a shared family bond — a bond that brings us back to Augie as often as we can to reminisce and make new memories. On Oct. 20, 2018, we made another new Augie memory when the last Beveroth kid, Andrew, married his Augie sweetheart, Lauren (Baker) Beveroth, at none other than Augustana. For my sister, Amelia, her husband, Jon Meyer, and my husband, Mark Baron, the day was especially wonderful as we welcomed our new sister into the family and celebrated love and marriage back at the place where our own love stories started.
