Earth Week events planned for April 22-28

Augustana student groups will host hands-on activities and events for Earth Week, April 22-28. All are invited to connect with nature and help make an impact on campus.

TLA Residential Life Wine Tasting

Residents of TLA housing may participate in a wine tasting to prepare for professional and social environments as they begin applying for jobs/ internships, attending interviews, and preparing for post-graduation life

Car Club season opener

Augustana Car Club will host the season opener from 6-10 p.m., with cool cars and bikes, as well as food and drink trucks. 

UnityPoint in the Brew

Representatives of UnityPoint Health will be at The Brew from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. to explain opportunities, answer questions, and talk about what UnityPoint has to offer students.

Futurist Thinking Series explores what AI can’t teach

As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes how people learn, work and create, a more urgent question is emerging across education: What must remain distinctly human? That question anchored Augustana's most recent Futurist Thinking Series conversation, where perspectives on the technology’s impact — scholarship, education and industry — were examined.

Nón Lá

The Vietnamese Student Association will present Nón Lá, its annual cultural fundraiser, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

There will be traditional Vietnamese performances, cultural games, and authentic dishes. Nón Lá is a celebration of heritage, community, and giving back.

Student Recital

JT Gawron, a music education major, will perform a bass trombone recital.

Alex Sell, a sophomore majoring in biochemistry, will perform a bass trombone recital.

Adi Walker, a biology major, will perform a tenor trombone recital.
