Frieze Lectures to examine feminism starting Oct. 19

The Frieze Lectures series continues for its 26th year, from Oct. 19 to Nov. 9. The free public lecture series was created to celebrate the oldest library in Illinois, the Rock Island Public Library, founded under the Local Library Act of 1872.

Augustana’s Ariano ’25 named a Bandits Scholar

Recognized for excellence in and out of the classroom, Kade Ariano '25 received a scholarship that pays for his junior year’s tuition at Augustana and a paid internship with the Quad Cities River Bandits in the summer of 2024.

Symposium Day

Global Ambassadors welcome international students

Augustana welcomes 192 first-year and transfer international students this year. Seven Global Ambassadors, who are returning international students, assist the new students throughout the year.
